These Terms and Conditions govern purchases from and use of ParentResearchCenter.com, including digital resources offered by the Homeschool Now Parent Research Center (“Parent Research Center,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, downloading a resource, or using this website, you agree to these terms.
1. Educational purpose
Parent Research Center provides educational and research materials intended to help parents investigate historical, philosophical, and educational questions. Our materials are informational and educational. They are not legal, financial, medical, psychological, or other licensed professional advice, and they do not guarantee any particular educational or personal result.
2. Orders and payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. You agree to provide accurate billing and contact information and authorize our payment provider to charge the payment method selected at checkout. An order is accepted when payment is successfully processed and an order confirmation is issued. We may correct pricing or product-description errors before accepting an order.
3. Digital delivery
Our current paid products are downloadable PDF files. After successful payment, download access is provided through the order-confirmation page, order email, or customer account, as applicable. You are responsible for supplying a valid email address, maintaining compatible software and devices, and saving an authorized copy of your purchase.
If a download link fails, a file is corrupted, or you receive the wrong file, reply to your order-confirmation email or use the customer-support contact information included in that message. We will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide the correct file.
4. Personal-use license
Each purchase grants the buyer a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use the resource for the buyer’s personal or household educational use. You may save the file to your own devices and print copies for use within your household.
You may not resell, sublicense, share, email, post, upload, reproduce for another household or organization, distribute through a group or membership, remove ownership notices, or make the file publicly available. Schools, co-ops, churches, businesses, and other organizations must obtain written permission or an appropriate license before distributing a resource beyond one purchasing household.
5. Intellectual property
The website, resource design, original text, research frameworks, graphics, branding, and downloadable materials are owned by or licensed to Parent Research Center and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Purchasing a resource does not transfer ownership or grant rights beyond the personal-use license stated above. Quotations and third-party materials remain the property of their respective rights holders.
6. Refunds
Refund requests are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy. Eligible requests may be submitted within seven calendar days of purchase. Approved refunds end the customer’s license and authorization to retain or use the refunded resource.
7. Responsible use
You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, use automated means to extract protected content, submit fraudulent orders, or use our materials in a manner that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.
8. Sources, interpretation, and accuracy
Parent Research Center distinguishes documented evidence, interpretation, inference, historical allegation, and unresolved questions. Although we work carefully and may revise resources when better evidence becomes available, historical sources and interpretations can be incomplete, disputed, or updated. You remain responsible for evaluating sources and deciding how to use the information.
9. Third-party services and links
The website may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, archives, publishers, and external research sources. Their own terms and privacy practices govern your use of those services. A link or citation does not necessarily constitute endorsement of every statement or practice of the third party.
10. Availability and changes
We may update, correct, replace, suspend, or discontinue website features or resource versions. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. When a purchased file is materially defective or unavailable, the remedies described in our Refund and Returns Policy apply.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and resources are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Parent Research Center is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or resources. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that purchase.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the website, products, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively when posted unless applicable law requires otherwise.
